The Economic Club for Emerging Leaders

The Shepherds Foundation is a non-partisan Economic Club that exists to empower emerging leaders by accelerating their success, expanding economic mobility, and supporting holistic well-being through leadership retreats, executive coaching, community service, economic research, and digital engagement.

We currently operate chapters in Oakland, CA, Dallas, TX, and Washington, D.C.

Leadership is Lonely

Leaders from undercapitalized communities often navigate their careers in isolation - facing systemic barriers, limited access to mentors, and a lack of resources to support their mental health and career outcomes.

Many experience clinical depression, sparking an exhausting cycle that’s almost impossible to break without professional help.

Few spaces exist where emerging business leaders and influential mentors regularly convene to catalyze economic mobility.

A Lifeline for Leaders

Our mission is to empower emerging leaders by catalyzing their economic mobility and holistic well-being through leadership retreats, executive coaching, community service, economic research, and digital engagement.

By prioritizing stewardship, transparency, and generosity, we build community and create relationship capital to drive economic development.

Honoring the Past,
Shaping The Future

The Shepherd’s Tree has served as a lifeline since the dawn of humanity.

  • Known as the ‘Tree of Life,’ its remarkable root system is one of the deepest on record, extending up to 230 feet below the ground, dwarfing its 30-foot above-ground structure.

  • For millennia, the Shepherd’s Tree has provided humans with shelter, sustenance, energy, and medicine.

  • Its adaptability and life-sustaining properties make it a powerful symbol of resilience and resourcefulness.
